“I’m an inmate at Albion Correctional Facility. I have been incarcerated for 19 and half years. I will be 67 in February. I have five children, five grandchildren and another one on the way and I believe these bills should be passed because we’re not what the crime was. Things happened and of course we’re sorry for what we did but over the years we’ve changed and we deserve to have a second chance in society and I would love to see this passed because I miss my family so much. I would like to be home with my children, my grandchildren. I’d liked to be considered for a second chance and not be hit at the board [i.e. denied parole] consistently or be looked at like I’m less than a person because I’m not. I have successfully
